Our Team

Teammate-1

Cortney Duncan

Cortney Duncan is CADCO’s president and general contractor. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology and a minor in Business. After working in several different areas of the construction industry, Cortney founded CADCO in 2006. He wanted to provide a unique construction experience, one where clients can see their vision become a reality in a timely manner, all under one roof, while upholding high quality standards. Cortney and his wife, Ashley, raise a set of active triplets: 2 sons, Cameron and Peyton, and a daughter, Avery. Together with the CADCO team, they started an annual fundraiser golf tournament, which benefits autism programs in our area. Cortney has served on various boards, including NC MOM (NC Missions of Mercy), which raises money to provide dental services to those in need. Cortney also enjoys travel, golf, and coaching high school football. He was honored to be named one of Cary Magazine’s 2024 Movers & Shakers for his work at CADCO and in the community.

Teammate-2

Josh Hines

Josh Hines is the Vice President of CADCO. He is actively involved in managing various daily operations of the company including finance, estimating, and project management. Josh utilizes his years of commercial construction experience in guiding projects from design to development and completion. Born and raised in the triangle, Josh graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He is a licensed NC General Contractor and holds a NC Real Estate Brokers License. He and his wife Jenny are proud parents of their son, TJ, and dog, Duke. Josh also enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, or watching one of his favorite bands at a local venue.

Ashley Duncan

Ashley Duncan was an integral part of the launch of CADCO in 2006, developing their website as well as marketing. She continues to oversee CADCO’s website, marketing, and social media and serves as Community Relations Coordinator. Ashley attended NC State University, where she received a BA in Psychology. She worked for NCSU’s Center for Family and Community Engagement until welcoming triplets Cameron, Avery, and Peyton in 2011. She enjoys cheering them on in their numerous sports and activities and serves on their school’s PTA as well as the Cary Ballet Company Board. With a passion for making a difference in the community, Ashley also serves as Tournament Manager for CADCO’s Annual Autism Awareness Golf Tournament and President of Building People and Communities, a nonprofit charity organization she and husband Cortney founded that funds local autism programs.

Jimmy Smith

Jimmy Smith, a superintendent at CADCO, is a North Carolina native from Bunn, NC. With over a decade of hands-on construction and management experience, Jimmy brings a wealth of knowledge to each project and client. He and his wife, Jillian, were married in 2012 and are devoted parents to their daughter, Paisley, and son, Logan. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys video games, camping, hunting, and fishing. He hopes to use his love of the outdoors to start and run his own farm one day.

Peter Darden

Peter Darden is a CADCO Superintendent. Originally from Clinton, North Carolina, Peter moved to Raleigh to attend William Peace University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and played on the men’s soccer team throughout his 4 years at Peace. With an impressive history of leadership in both academics and athletics, Peter brings this experience and commitment to excellence into his work at CADCO. In his free time, Peter enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his 3 brothers.

Caleb Emory

Caleb Emory, CADCO Assistant Superintendent, is a lifelong North Carolina resident who grew up in Johnston County. He enjoys the variety of work CADCO provides and especially appreciates learning new skills on each job. Caleb enjoys being outdoors, spending his free time camping, fishing, and with his dog. He loves finding adventures in his everyday life and also spending time with his friends and working on home improvement projects.
